Alphabeasties and Other Amazing Types

jacketed cover FINALI bought this book at the National Zoo shop, thinking it would be about animals and typography, so my kids and I could enjoy it together. It’s not really about animals, but my five-year-old adores it anyway, as do I. The only thing I have to add to the many glowing book reviews you can find out there is that it’s not a children’s book, or at least not just a children’s book. It’s an introduction to typography, disguised as an alphabet book. And everyone who writes museum labels needs to know at least a little about typography!
