At Education Development Center, I wrote high school science curriculum materials for Ford PAS Working Toward Sustainability (WTS). Ford PAS was an academically challenging, standards-based program that linked classroom learning to college and career preparation; the WTS modules used topics in alternative energy to teach core concepts in chemistry, physics, and biology.
Primary contributions:
- chemistry content and lab activities for the module Is Hydrogen a Solution?
- content development for the WTS professional development modules and project management for the first multi-day WTS teacher professional development workshop
